Eventually went along with some friends from school to one of their meets or whatever and I vividly remember telling them it was gay as fuck. Wearing uniforms following a schedule and taking commands from old guys I didn't trust and doing rpg-style quests for badges never got me.
I just wanted to fuck around innawoods with my bros and all the authority was antithetical to that for me.
