I've gotten fairly into exploring recently, storm drains actually seem to have become my kind of thing. I really like tunnels in general, though the darkness gets me kind of nervous in a new tunnel for the first few minutes. I usually go with my boyfriend, we bring our cameras, at least three flashlights, sometimes a lantern, backup batteries, water and snacks, and my Battleship game.
We actually went exploring two larger tunnels today, they were really nice. Big, square, just walked straight on and tried not to trip on the garbage.
