>>1566964The best thing I ever found for channel cats was using dip bait with these pic related things. Dip bait is like those dough balls that never really work, but it’s more sticky. So you tie one of these rigs on, grab a little stick off the ground and jam it in the rig and then swirl it around in the jar of sticky, stinky dip bait.
There used to be some anon here who used this shit called “punch bait” that was kinda similar, more sticky than dough bait and he would slay the channel cats every night he went out. He also had a better strategy than most people, he said you put the bait out, and if you don’t get any bites within 10min, move to another spot. Once you find a spot with bites, stay there til they stop biting and move again. Everybody likes to sit around the same spot for 3hrs.
