>>1819648nope no crown land. 88% of the land is privately owned and 12% is provincial. there's tons of places to forage, fish and harvest shellfish so grocery bills are optional during the summer. limited hiking trails, camping is either on private land or on one of the 38 campgrounds (there are more but they're probably not legal since they're not registered, cash only.) also you can never be more than .75km away from a road or trail
it's great if you like spending the summers bombing around on a dualsport. lots of poorly maintained dirt roads that'd pass as trails elsewhere. and seriously it's as beautiful as it looks in the pictures. red earth + green everything makes even the most boring dirt road picturesque
sorry about all the covid people getting bounced at the bridge. so many people want to come here cause we were covid free for like 9 weeks. i know someone working security at the airport and so many people tried to come here with no place to quarantine so they got sent back on the next flight out.
