Hello lads! Going on my first solo hiking/camping trip in about a months time. I have almost all the gear needed besides a few items that I'll be purchasing soon.
This is actually my first time going on a solo vacation as well.
Well, I have a couple of questions/concerns. What would be an appropriate amount of time for a 60ish mile trail? (I have to go and come back obviously.) I was thinking either 7 or 10 days but was learning towards 7.
What things can I do to pass the time and have a bit of fun? Bringing my yo-yo so that I can do a bit of fishing whenever I have a chance.
The location is Ocala National Forest in FL. A tad bit nervous, but I guess that's expected for anyone on a first solo trip.
Cheers.
