I had a #4 with that brown skirt and the metallic pink blade and that was my snakehead killer lure... until I went fishing with Anon one day and let him borrow it and he snagged it on an alligator. I had another one I loved with the natural skirt and a chartruese blade, I think that was an Agila #2, I eventually lost it and I could never find the same color combo to replace it.
I got down on some of those Blue Fox Vibrax spinners too, they’re not the same as Mepps, but sometimes they do real good because they have that little bell that gives off a different vibration which can draw sneks out of their holes.
