The fact people are willing to sacrifice public land to have more fiat money that is almost practically worthless is a sign of how bad the times are. Growth for the sake of growth is simply unsustainable. We haven't had a free market in this country since the 1930s and it shows.

What if it is just some old guy who bought the land to keep it from being developed and allows outdoorsmen to use the land. Under one definition this could be considered non-use, but under another it is use. This grey area precisely where communists operated and it didn't turn out well for the people or the environment.
