For backpacking, The Exponent / Feather stoves were lighter and are basically a smaller version of this, its a shame they don't make them anymore. The Svea 123 and the Optimus hiker+ are also not too bad. they can be expensive though.
The Stovetec Firefly looks interesting too, since it doubles as a lantern, but never messed with one. Not too sure about the pellets either.
