Using picnic blanketas a cover again, and I've been thinking - anyone tried using it /out/?
Pros:
>Warm & comfy and soft on one side
>Thick isolation on the other side, good against morning dew if sleeping outside tent
>Pretty light
>Resistant
Cons:
>Not breathable
>Stiff, a bit inflexible
>A bit small, but there should be bigger ones
I only used it once, in the hot summer. Liked the isolation (I was sleeping on a pad) and the dew resistance when I woke up.
