I got this while I was in Army Basic for 50 bucks. I'll admit I think I only got it cause it looked better than the other multi-tools the PX sold and thought the price meant quality. Luckily, least I think so, I was right. Everyone else got the Gerber multi-tools and about half the Gerbers broke and all of them had crap knifes and/or saws. There was only about 5 people who got the SOG's like me and none of us had a problem with the thing. But I will admit it might be a bit expensive since you said you're just using it for fishing along with it seems that it's normal price is around 120 bucks. Just felt like sharing my experience, didn't know it was that expensive outside a military base
