>>1085188Yeee I'll post one now, but got to pop to the shops then I can dump some more. It's _much_ hotter down there and there is more road walking. If you were going to walk the Med side I would make sure you get to walk between Nuria and Setcases as this was the best bit after Andorra.
>>1085192Above 2000m it was quieter and everyone you meet is cool. In the lower/tourist trap section it was very much a case of putting on headphones and blasting as fast as possible. I went solo. Meet two people in the first 2 days and walked them for ~10 days but they weren't thru hiking it. After that I was alone till the end but did stop and chat to people. Resupply was easy the most food I had to carry was 3 days worth. Just ate crap from small super markets and the odd meal at a mountain refuge. A lot of cheese, ham, bread, chocolate and biscuits. In total I speant around 800 euros, I could have speant less but it would have required discipline as it's hard to turn down a plate of fried eggs, ham, and bread when you happen to hit a refuge at lunch time.
Back later.
