>>1390352pelagic red crab. pleuroncodes planipes. wrote my master's thesis on their migration rhythms. while I was doing research for the scripps institute. they are usually drifting in the open ocean feeding on plankton but often with a el nino current warm waters they will wash into the shallows and fill the beaches in socali. Ive cut open fish and they are stuffed with them. football tuna commonly feed on these red crabs so the name tuna crab. I guess thats a little too much information.......kek
