I used to work a natute raft guide on class III and lower, most of us sported an Astral Ronny, it's a good all arounder plus there's a fishing version and you can usually get last year's colors on closeout somewhere. My favourites for a long time have been Extrasport, but they got bought out by Old Town and haven't been the same since.
