I'm buying a trolling motor. Does it make sense to Craigslist the boat for $200 and get a cheap kayak to put it on? I bought inflatable so it'd fit in my apartment and the trunk of my car, but I think I could store a kayak under the bed and just get a roof rack.
Also, do people really bring life vests or is that just what people say to do like riding a bike with a helmet? Looking back I probably should have had one just in case
