After the Blue Ridge Parkway, 3 flat and easy days took us to Yorktown, where the trip came to a close.
Granted, Yorktown is on a bay, and not the ocean itself, but I went for a swim, and the water was plenty salty. Also, after riding 4800 miles, I was about ready to call my mission complete.
My rewards? The state of Virginia gave me a pin for riding the length of bicycle route 76. I also got this picture of my bike in front of the victory monument, which seemed appropriate, loads of memories and an awesome experience.
I'll happily answer any other questions, but I won't bump the thread again without provocation. Thanks for reading, /out/!
