Chicago is like LA, where you are still in the suburbs for about 40 miles west of the loop. There is a sign near where I live that says "Chicago 43 miles" and I would consider my neighborhood to be the very edge of the suburbs.
>>844041bullshit, I grew up in the corn fields and it was a blast. The farther you get from chicago the more freedom you get. I boat and duck hunt the Fox river in fucking south elgin and have seen the DNR out there once. There is plenty to do in Illinois. The only gripe I have is the lack of public shooting areas like they have out west.
