My wife and I make vaccuum sealed pouches of lentil dhal with added dehydrated vegetables and TVP (she's vegetarian). Also, oatmeal with dehydrated apples and maple syrup. Pic related is some hardtack I've made. Not perfectly shelf stable because I added some spices, but it will last long enough and is good added to soups and broths. I want to try doing stews with dehydrated chicken and veg too.
