>>2802634I did after the other farm store was caught poisoning the feed. That’s where I was buying a bulb when the kid was talking about thin shells and got daggers from the TS clerk for suggesting supplementing the feed with a bag of wild bird seed from the grocery store.
I get my feed from a long and pop farm/hardware store now. It’s a 40 min drive but small town 3,000 people and it’s all from here. That’s where the clerk was asking about mysterious molting. (I always jump to mites thanks to my aunt).
>>2801823I don’t have her education or experience in national disease labs discovering no pathogens but I do have 14 years of every summer on the farm with her and have been slinging 50lb bags of feed and corn and bails of hay since I could walk.
Whatever they’re doing they’re fucking with the feed somehow. I lean towards lysine.
Have today off may build more nesting boxes. Half are great about it and half just drop them anywhere.
Look at sourcing feed alternatively and locally shits gonna get crazy.
