Good for bushwahcking if you don't mind trailblazing. Although occurrences of clearing only really occurs if your way out in the boonies though.
Pic is my Russian meme pack and my designer duct tape scabbard. The low profile of the bag, and the way the scabbard hangs allows me to draw the machete from the back relatively quickly, despite being the least favord way to wear a blade according basement dwelling sword enthusiasts.
