I live in a warmer climate where the creeks and rivers aren't that deep, so it never was cold enough for trout. But I fished at the tailwater of a dam this morning where the water was very cold and caught this.

How do I properly hold it? I thought about lipping it like a bass, but wasn't sure if they had sharp teeth. And I was cautious about holding it because I didn't know if they had a sharp fin like a catfish.
Also, is it normal sized? Smaller?
