The one sighting that sticks out the most to me was during a canoeing trip with some bros down a southern stretch of the Colorado River. We had been out on the water for a few days and were passing thru a spot with rock walls and spires on either side. Up on the top of a little peak was a burly ass big horn sheep standing all majestic and shit while his sheep entourage walked around below him on a pretty much vertical cliff face. Id spent a lot of time in the desert and only seen them thru binoculars before that. Really cool to stumble on.
