Honestly I was the same. Never had one but was terrified of them. The fear of Chronic Fatigue and being allergic to meat was a lot. Then I got a tick and just cut the fucker out. And I realised that a few of my mates had also had lyme desease and some antibiotics sorted them out.
Dont let the fear of the unknown put you off the great green outdoors. <3
