>>341536Professionally I'm an electrical engineer, design products and test equipment for battery-powered and battery-backed-up devices. Wireless, low-power, embedded, mobile, etc etc etc buzzwords.
>>340689 is a board that I designed/built for avalanche rescue training. Patent in progress...>>340688 and >>340704 are the batteries I used in that system.>>340716 is from a tech conference I went to last year (3rd one i've been to, and the next one's coming up next month, going there again). 3-day conference packed full of technical sessions on pretty much any test/measurement topic. Hit that session because of my involvement with battery testing at work. You could say I /diy/ electronics too, the entire electrical system (minus ignition) on my motorcycle is my own design... custom PCB's, wiring harness, lights, etc. Being that it's my profession, the equipment I have on my KTM is a little more than what your average hobbyist would put together.
Next project's hacking my snowmobile, I've got a bluetooth link between the ECU in it and my computer or phone, just not making sense of the data coming out of it yet. Just need time to work on it at this point. (Need to win the lottery so I can afford to take the time to work on all these little projects. Work keeps getting in the way of my cool shit.)
