i started digging some at home but the soil dried out and i couldn't find any, so i started using worms at the fishing hole
there's a worm there called asian jumping worms that are considered invasive, and you can find them right on top of or just under the leaf litter without much effort, so i just used those today
i find twitching the line a bit seems to help produce bites
sometimes i repeatedly hook the worm so it's bunched up and sometimes i thread the hook through the worm kind of like a texas rig for soft plastics
i had some good luck and got 3 trout with roe so far
i made some caviar with onions sauce and mirin and some with just salt, sorry i couldn't find any blini and didn't have time to make some
