I worked for one for two years and got to work in Provincial park forests, was flown out to remote areas in helicopters, got to do tree large amounts of planting in provincial parks and as well as working in municipal watersheds not open to the public. I got to work in many pristine landscapes. It was hard work, but worth being outdoors everday.
Keep in mind, most tree care companies only work in residential areas and pruning near power lines. The one I worked for took care of work in provincial parks, regional parks and watersheds. I built good relationships with many parks employees we worked for over those 2 years, and it gave me an edge with getting employed with them.
