Hey guys first time really posting on /out/ but I got a hatchet I use for long field ops. Any suggestions on sharpening a Hatchet I imagine its very similar to a knife. Also how to clean one I tried CLP and a soft copper brush thats what I use to de-rust my M4 after long field ops. But it didn't do really anything. One of the NCOs in my plt kept taking my hatchet and throwing it at trees well I was away so he dulled it a little doing that. Anyway pic related my Hatchet during the last big field op we did, about 20ish days. Most POG thing ive ever done build this "Gilligan Island shack" as my leadership called it. But I got tired of it pissing on me.
