>>1340575>>1340579Evidently someone put porous landscaping cloth and black plastic around some stuff prior to me buying this land. 30 years later, the plastic is still here, despite always picking it up every single time I see it somewhere. The first two years were spent just picking up trash and buried trash. In the past 5 years, buried trash has been coming up more and more. I need to go around the entire property and do a collection run again. There's everything from metal cans to broken glass to random plastic. Thankfully, the true plastic age had not quite hit this area before I bought the property, so there's not as much plastic here as some places. However, plastic comes here in the straw and hay in the form of orange plastic baling twine that's cut up into 2 inches sections and random trash that hides in the hay from who knows where.
To top it off, there's like 50 new tires in the streams and rivers coming down from up stream/up river every flood. It is kind of maddening really, when you are trying your best to remove pollution and not bring it in.
