3 years in just finished going in with a friend on a 1 ton and a 1200 dollar backhoe we fixed up. Next summer will be a garage, then bigger cabin.
It can be done. Ive been largely drunk and high the whole time. No prior building experience, just overdid everything. An address that's not a p o box is hard.
