If you were with your pal, would you not find it natural to show them your gear and some pics of the hike you did? Who cares if he had some silly decisions, none of them were nearly as consequential as posters in here made it out to be.
In my head, /out/ and any other hobby board, is a chill place to fart around, discuss, and get advice for said hobby. With a healthy amount of niggers and faggots thrown in. But /out/ is just so fucking nasty for a blue board, everyone thinks they're the top shit and that if you bring 4 bottles of Gatorade on an overnight you'll die. Like, who are you trying to impress? There is a million and 1 ways you could have packed for this hike and none of them would have mattered, it's just not that serious.
