>>2470977Cheers, I completely agree. I am extremely traditionally minded when it comes to politics, but I consider this pseudo-LARP to be a form of experimental archaeology or historical research, rather than any sort of political statement. I am not against conformity per say, I am just disgusted with modernity, and thus refuse to conform to that. I wear wool and leather around the house too, and so does my wife - but we obviously still have a fridge and I'm typing this on a computer and so on kek.
>PicrelHere's the shelter with the roof raised and the wall mostly buttoned up. I used a stick and a cord tied to a nearby branch to lift up the roof a bit extra. The shelter easily had enough room for me and all my kit. I'm used to sleeping in a Carinthia GTX bivy-bag, leaving my kit outside - this was similar but waaay more roomy. I could've fit my wife OR my dog in there as well. Obviously I could've skipped using a tarp as a floor, and just made this with two tarps. The wall can of course also be omitted in bug-free yet warmer weather.
