Nice day for some tunnel work. It has been harvested, weeded, watered, and it seems the cabbage moths are worse. I'll order some Bacillus thuringiensis kurstaki spray for them to eat instead of the plants. It was 40F/4.44C outside and 60F/15.55C inside the tunnel.
Row 1: Tunnel with double layer plastic on / off.
2: Volunteer mustard greens in the path. They are all over the place. / The mustard microgreens recovered nicely over the course of two weeks and were ready to harvest again today.
3: Last season's chard is still producing well, though I may need to give it two more weeks before harvesting again. / The chard seedlings are growing nicely.
4: This is what the carrot seedlings look like prior to weeding. They are growing slowly since they are in cooler temps than optimum. / Some cabbage caterpillars. I found about a dozen.
5: Working on another bed, digging it out, adding clay and compost to it. The compost just goes on the bottom this season.
