>>1346920This is really the only bag I use, I try to keep it as minimal as possible. I even modded the bag by removing the vertical straps that make that handle thing, too much unnecessary bulk for me.
Main compartment:
- Reel (with nanofil mainline pre-tied to a quick change bead for easy leader change)
- Case with pre-tied leaders
- Small plano box for weights, spare hooks, and tiny lures
- Small fluoro spool in case I need to make a leader
Side pouches:
-Flood light, Sun screen, and any misc. items (keys and wallet sometimes) on right pouch
-Gulp 1in Minnow jar and Trout Dough jar on left pouch
Front pouch:
-Rapala fishing forceps (i clamp them to the shoulder strap while fishing)
-Tamiya hobby tweezer for getting size 26 midge out of a baby blue gill's throat
-scissors
The only thing I carry on my hand is my 2-piece ultralight rod. Somehow I still feel like this is too much to carry. I've been theory crafting ways to carry an even smaller bag.
