Did you forget your sleeping bag too? Your survival shelter strikes me as more of a culmination of poor planning and lack of practical outdoor skills than it does as a product of resourcefulness. Like, you probably learned how to build a lean-to from TV and then started practicing "bushcraft" in the woods by yourself because you thought it made you cooler than the other high school kids. You're probably one of the people who actually believes that a lean-to is superior "in theory" to a standard tent or tarp because of some autistic reason like it's more natural when that's only an excuse for you being too poor to afford a real tent. In fact, the rest of us are just looking at your pitiful attempt at a shelter with your terrifying abortion of a cot with a knowing smile and hoping that you don't die of hypothermia one of these days you try something like that.
