It's a shame that utes didn't take off in america, especially diesel single-cabs like the 2006 SR in the picture which is what I drive but with a longer 2.4m steel tray. All these US trucks are a sea of cabin and shiny panels without much room to carry anything. With pic-related you can dump literal shit in the back and scrape it out with an excavator, pitch a tent on it, dump a load of gravel in it. Why don't americans do this?
