I got my monthly Smitty's box yesterday. One pattern I already know, pat's rubber legs jig, is the beginner pattern. And something new for the intermediate pattern, an articulated streamer they call the Smitty's sculpinator.
I've tied tons of pat's rubber legs, both with and without a bead head. So this month's beginner pattern was very easy. But it's a great fly, so it never hurts to have more.
Supplied materials: size 10 jig hooks, 3.5mm slotted tungsten beads, 136D uni thread in black, rubber leg material and two different colors of two tone chenille. Not included, lead/lead-free wire.
