>What are some other main expenses related to running farm?I have to buy propane tanks every week for water heating. Pumping water takes some extra electricity. During winter, it's either chopping my own wood or buying some piles around town since my heating is half electrical, half good old fire. Oh and of course all the food for the cats and chickens. Cats are a must-have if you don't want mice screwing around and eating your shit.
