well yes you can find a place to "sort of" sit and rest
but it is never ever ever really very comfortable or relaxing. rocks are hard and not shaped like chairs. trees, logs and stumps are hArd or rotted, with stubs of branches poking out evrywhere
I have never been able to find a stuMP, LOG OR ANYTHING THAT IS COMFORTABLE TO SIT ON INNA WOODS.
after backpacking for years i have determined that if i really want to enjoy my next trip im gonna hafta bring some kinda camp chair . even if its just a therma chair BACKREST thingies
