>>1906201Definitely a taught line hitch. It’s an adjustable, somewhat non-slipping loop. It’s very handy. Prusiks work on the same principle, but are just loops wrapped around another line. They’re great for hanging a tarp on a continuous ridgeline (pic rel). Super simple too.
