>>1230618I worked packing and shipping antique glassware. some pieces cost more than my yearly income at the time. I went overboard packing that stuff. If it was less than double boxed it didn't get sent. I had rave reviews from customers over how well things were packed. All the reviews before I worked there and after I left were terrible because no one else packed things properly and nearly everything broke in some manner. It was really dreadful, I don't know what is wrong with people.
All the stuff I get in the mail is packed so that there's a balloon on one side pressing all the contents to the other side of the box. There's nothing else. It doesn't matter if it is HDDs, glassware, or camera equipment. Yeah, the trays and humidity domes were packed the same way. The box had a big crushed section and some holes, but luckily nothing was broken. All the boxes from everyone are crushed and have holes in them.
Regardless, I still order online. I just make sure I'm home to receive or refuse packages.
