I'd move from town to town, raiding libraries and bookstores as I stock up a few safe houses/supply caches to leave behind me for my next visit. Books, fuel, water, tp and such. For food I'd hunt and trap, maybe cultivate a few hard to pilfer patches of vegetables. Maybe leave maps/keys around for what with my terrible memory. Weed.
