Cut down a green sapling, skinned all the bark, dried it, created a grip using some rope and some fish hooks I found at my campsite, sanded it down. Have yet to varnish it, but I am wondering about the foot of it: I want to slap one of those rubberized feet on it so it doesn't wear the bottom out and so I have to replace it sooner. I want to keep it for a while. Anyone know where I can pick some up that arent for trekking poles? It has a pretty wide base..
