I have a long bear story that I've written out and forgot to ctrl+c so I can't pasta it but the gist of it is a bear stalked me at my camp for about 5 hours until about 2am it came back really aggressively so instead of going to sleep i grabbed all my lights and my hatchet and basically chased it away as I bailed out and hiked all the way home in the middle of the night. it ran away from me and crashed like a dinosaur through the woods and then i heard these little "ooo ooo" calls that sounded like baboons or monkeys in the trees, shined my lights up and there were 2 bear cubs up in the tree. i just got the hell out of there and came back out the next day to pack up
