I don't know how to feel about it so far. It looks cool, sounds cool when you launch a 3/8oz lure halfway across the lake. Don't really get what it does other than that. The reel seems 5x more durable than a spinning reel so there's that.
I can do anything I can do with this with my spinning set up. It's just a little more ergonomic and casts better. Which doesn't matter much for me since I fish rivers and streams. I'll still take this over my spinning combo but it's probably sunken cost fallacy. This set up wasn't cheap.
