>>165129OP, you did yourself a favor. I have that exact model. I have taken it into the woods and spent a day beating the absolute shit out of it. I used it to dig up, roots and all, an oak sapling, and have batoned it into dry firewood. No dings, no chips, and was cutting paper when I got home. I carry a ceramic rod sharpener on me on my key ring. I can run it through about 20 times, stop it 20 times on some scrap leather or a belt, then run it on my car window like you would on a whetstone 20 times, then run it on my arm/leg and watch hair fly off. Like you I was doubtful of the quality, but this is now my main bush knife. Obviously its no axe, but you shouldn't treat a knife like an axe anyway.
