Still, if you're looking to donate your extra socks I'm sure there's plenty of homeless where you are who would take them, unless you're specifically donating to our cause, in which case we haven't quite worked out how we're going to do that; accept donations.
In the long run a project like this will require donations/fundraising, over the last week I've come to realize that while we'd all like to work on this project and get it off the ground, the amount of time required to actually take the house and turn it into something would require us to actually dedicate a good portion of the next year or two directly to the house. That's asking a lot of a bunch of independent transient street kids. I myself almost took off the other day to go work for a carnival for a few weeks to a month, in almost doing so I realized a lot about what I've actually committed myself to. I'll explain more in the update here later, since not a lot has happened and I've had more time to think to myself.
tl;dr I appreciate the sentiment but I've already got socks for me and if you're looking to give to our cause we still have to find out if it's a feasible cause.
