What is happening to my Zucchini plant?
The stem looks like it's been eaten away at. I had seen that something was wrong with it about a week ago but I decided not to do anything about it because usually when I try to fix things, they end up worse than they were in the beginning, and while it did seem to get a little better and the plant looks like it's thriving, the problem subsisted til today.
I live in Europe and we don't have squash vine borers here but I have seen bugs that to me looked like squash bugs somewhere else in the neighborhood.
For now, I just piled more soil over the exposed parts because the roots were showing.
