Braid seems like it's out since you don't have the luxury of making a leader and in that situation, you don't want to have to worry about fish getting too shy to bite. But what lures and hooks would you use? Since you'd probably just be tying it to the end of a stick, it seems like putting in a little bobber and scrounging for live bait is your best bet considering that and the space requirement.
