many of the rainbow family have full time jobs and/or own businesses and in the society we create every year those who have more give so that those who don't can. Everyone has something to contribute. Even if you don't bring food you can carry firewood and build and maintain fires for cooking. even if you don't bring shelter you can help build the kitchens and hang the tarps. even if you cant move around because you are old and infirm you can sing a song or tell a joke. and you can always find someone to hug you.
