>>1366973>>1366983I have one of those really thin down jackets and a huge oversized synthetic parka. Is it appropriate to combine these for layering on say a trip up Mt Washington NH? (I also have rain jacket and heavier puffy jacket, but with no hood and kind of worn, that I could mix and match with as well).
The common recommendation seems to be a shell and then big puffy jacket to go on top of it all.
