Come on, be realistic. There's zoning laws in place for a reason. It's because some idiots put a shitty fucking RV on a piece of land and pile garbage around it, and make it some bullshit disgusting gypsy village that I'd an complete eyesore. If one of these people moved next door to me I'd be pissed too.
These laws are not in place just to prevent "homesteading" they're in place to keep a town looking nice.
If you don't want to deal with that, then fucking move somewhere outside of a local borough. Hell in my county as long as you're not in a borough, you can live however you want, and plenty of people do.
Don't move to an area that has clearly defined laws and then get mad when they enforce them.
